Fresh Off the Hook Seafood

Fresh Off the Hook is an unassuming restaurant, because it is located within a strip mall near the Boise Towne Square Mall. The restaurant has been around for more than a decade, and has become a staple for seafood in Boise.

Lucky Fins

Lucky Fins has three locations in the Boise area, including Naked Fins on Broadway. Their downtown Boise Lucky Fins location offers seafood, sushi, and plenty of American fare. They are located on the Grove Plaza, which makes is a perfect location for summer drinks on the patio and people watching.

Lucky Fins’ seafood menu includes fish and shrimp tacos, poke bowl, lobster-stuffed avocado, oysters on the half shell, fish & chips, lobster mac & cheese, and a seared scallop and Ahi.

Reel Foods Fish Market & Oyster Bar

Real Foods Fish Market is not a restaurant, but a fish market for you to choose your pick and take it home to cook yourself. The seafood at Reel Foods is flown in daily, never frozen, and includes salmon, Ahi, shrimp, halibut, sole, and a wide variety of oysters.

Reel Foods will also provide you with the recipes and seasonings to help you cook the meal yourself.

Bonefish Grill

Bonefish Grill is a chain, but has become a staple for downtown Boise seafood. Located in BoDo, they are perfect for those days when you are downtown and want a great outdoor or indoor experience.

Bonefish’s menu includes items like Georges Bank Scallop & Shrimp; Ahi tuna steak; cod stuffed with shrimp, scallops, and crabmeat; and a local favorite: their Bang Bang shrimp.

Owyhee Tavern

Owyhee Tavern has taken on a few different looks and owners over the years, but it has continued to be a classy (and delicious) restaurant in downtown Boise. Owyhee Tavern is located within the Owyhee Hotel in downtown Boise, close to everything that downtown Boise has to offer.

Owyhee Tavern is not a seafood-specific restaurant but they are known as a steak and seafood restaurant, and they are good at both. Paddles Up Poke

Paddles Up Poke is one of the newest additions to the Boise seafood scene and now has a number of locations across town. The restaurant is owned by a local family and serves one item — poke bowls of all kinds.

Paddles Up Poke’s downtown location is nearby a number of other restaurants and breweries and is an easy lunch-to-go or night out. Their bowls include a tuna, salmon, and crab bowl; a shrimp, crab, and edamame bowl; a salmon, wasabi, and pineapple bowl, and more. Or you can build your own.
