If you are a sports fan, finding a place to watch a game can be one of the most important things to find when moving to a town. Although Boise has no high-level professional sports, we are fans of plenty of sports, including Boise State Football, Idaho Steelheads hockey, and plenty of other regional teams. Here are our favorite sports bars in Boise, Idaho to watch a game.

Dave & Buster’s
Taphouse in Boise is one of our favorite Boise sports bars for a few reasons. They have plenty of TVs and understand that people are there to watch a game, so they generally have a wide variety of different sports on. They are also located right downtown, which makes it an easy location to walk or bike to. The front of the building is made of garage doors, and so in the summer you can enjoy your food in the open air.
One of the most surprising things about Taphouse is that they have some of the best food in Boise. They have a large beer selection too, which makes them one of our favorite sports bars in Boise.

The Ram Restaurant & Brewery
The Ram is somewhat of a Boise institution. As restaurants have come and gone, The Ram has stood the test of time in a prime location near downtown and Boise State University.
The Ram has both a bar area and dining room area, so you can bring your whole family, or sit in the bar and have some food and drinks and watch your favorite game. Although it’s close to downtown, The Ram has plenty of parking too.

Legend’s Pub & Grille
Legend’s is a Boise sports bar located in the Boise Spectrum, a collection of shops and Edward’s 21 movie theater. The restaurant is a perfect location for food before a movie or to sit all day to watch a game.
Legend’s has plenty of TVs and beers on tap, as well as a number of their own homemade cocktails. Their food is what you would expect at a sports bar and I have never had a bad meal there.

Double Tap Pub
Double Tap is one of the newer additions to the Boise sports bar scene. Located in BoDo, the downtown restaurant features a limited but delicious menu, and plenty of beers on tap.
6 of our favorite Boise arcades
Double Tap is a great location in downtown Boise to watch a game and they are also the official Boise bar for the American Outlaws Boise Chapter, an organization backing national soccer teams in the United States.
409 S 8th Street
Boise, ID 83702
Sud’s Tavern is another Boise longtime institution, and can be considered the diviest of the dive bars on this list — but I would consider them more of a college bar.
Located across the street from Boise State University, Sud’s really thrives during Boise State football season. Sud’s has 16 TVs, a lot of bars on tap, pool tables, and more. Stop by on any normal day, or brave the crowds and have a drink before a Boise State game this season.

Dave & Buster’s
Dave & Buster’s is the only non-local restaurant on this list, but is worth a mention. The restaurant is the perfect place to go with your kids, because they can spend hours and hours in the arcade and you can sit in the restaurant and have a drink and watch a game.
9 of our favorite Boise restaurants with outdoor seating
Dave & Buster’s is a family-friendly restaurant, and they have plenty of TVs and seating if you just want to get a drink or watch your favorite team. Like Taphouse, one of the most surprising things about Dave & Buster’s in Boise (I don’t know if this is the case with all Dave & Buster’s locations): their food is amazing. They have a chef on staff and you can even get some healthy food, like lettuce wraps and wonton tacos.
