DK Donuts
DK Donuts is a staple in Boise — I remember going there as a child, they have the best bismarck donut I have ever had. The Boise shop does not look like much, but like many restaurants, sometimes looks can be very deceiving.

Guru Donuts
Guru Donuts is as close as Boise is going to get to Voodoo Doughnuts, Portland’s famous donut shop. Guru Donuts is also the only Boise donut shop on this list located in downtown Boise — they moved into the historic Idanha Building in 2016.
Guru Donuts Boise prides themselves in their vegan donut selection, and their donuts include a donut made from potato, a sea salt bar, and more traditional fares, like a classic maple bar.
Boise’s Guru Donuts has quickly become a favorite among locals, and their location makes them a fun place to visit on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

Pastry Perfection
Pastry Perfection in Boise is not exactly a “donut shop” — it is more of a bakery, with all kinds of sweets. Pastry Perfection makes cakes, cookies, pastries, coffee cakes, and donuts on a daily basis. They also make a number of breads, like bagels, every day. Pastry Perfection has been in the Boise area since 1983.
Pastry Perfection has jelly donuts, glazed donuts, fritters, and cake donuts. Their selection is huge, and it’s a perfect place to go if not everyone in your party wants a donut — because they have so many other things.

5855 N Glenwood Street
Boise, ID 83714

Dapper Doughnut
Dapper Doughnut is another Garden City bakery, but they also deserved to be on this list because of the variety of donuts they offer. At Dapper Doughnut, you get to make your own donuts — you choose your quantity, your bread type, your topping, and then a drink if you choose.
Best (classy) restaurants for date night in Boise
Dapper Doughnut is a franchise, but they know what they are doing and their donuts are delicious. Their specialty is mini-donuts, so if you are like me and can”t always eat a full donut (or you want a selection before you get full), mini donuts might be perfect for you.

Does Boise have a Dunkin Donuts?
No, Boise does not have a Dunkin’ Donuts. We had to include this here because plenty of people ask that question on a regular basis. There are some Dunkin’ Donuts locations in the Salt Lake City, Utah area, around five hours away. While you’re in Boise, you should try some of the yummy local donut shops, because (even though Dunkin’ Donuts is delicious) these local options are every bit as good as Dunkin’ Donuts, if not better.
